Ride Categories

Chester Road Club has a number ride categories to accommodate a broad range of abilities. There are 4 categories in total and are depicted in the table below:

The above categories are set out as a rough guideline only. There are many factors that can impact a ride on the day, particularly average speeds, which is why the expectation for each category is clearly laid out. This should give members a good indicator of which ride is best suited to their ability.
