A fixed agenda for the AGM is stipulated in the club’s constitution as follows:

b. Reports from the officers:

d. Election of officers and members of the general committee for 2023. All
There are currently vacancies for the following positions and nominations are sought.

Note: A new membership secretary is sought; current post-holder, Chris Lawson, has understandably retired following a move to Finland.
It is proposed, subject to the agreement of the members, to re-elect the following committee members for 2023; Keith Nield, James Eastbury, George Wilkinson, Fiona Marshall, Paul Modern, Lynsey Whitley, Gina Riley, Jean Evans, Gavin Broadhurst. All have confirmed their intention to continue into next year.
Call for volunteers to serve on the general committee.
e. The appointment of Rebecca Falcon to conduct an independent review of the club’s financial transactions for 2023.
f. Draft programme of competitive and social events for 2023
g. Motions:
Motion 1: Proposal for the reintroduction of faster rides, racing and encouragement of youngsters into the club to race etc – Joe Wilkinson / Niall Kenyon
Motion 2: Proposal to reintroduce the club Hill climb TT – Joe Wilkinson / Niall Kenyon
Motion 3: Proposal to re-open the Facebook page again – Joe Wilkinson / Niall Kenyon
Motion 4: Proposal to encourage the different groups that ride back under Chester Road Club or at least along-side it rather than having separate entities. – Joe Wilkinson / Niall Kenyon
Motion 5: Proposal for a social event before the start of each season for members to discuss plans/rides during the season ahead – Paul Nelson
h. Any Other Business
Please note that business not on the agenda cannot be brought up until all items on the agenda have been disposed of, nor shall such business then be discussed unless voted as urgent by at least two thirds of the members present.
