Chester Road Club celebrated its 90th anniversary with a special event put on for members on the evening of Friday 19th August which involved a club run leaving Chester, followed by food and drinks.
The evening was wonderful starting with 2 group rides leaving Chester for a spin, some choosing the lumpier option up Hope Mountain! The group rides were followed by a hog roast, drinks and a fire pit in our Chairman’s garden. And of course no “birthday” is complete without a cake! During the evening we also took the opportunity to recognise our long-serving members for their dedicated commitment to the club over the years and we are very thankful to Gerry, Geoff and Sandra for their support of Chester Road Club. Every detail of the evening was superbly planned, including the weather which was glorious, something not always guaranteed in August!
Huge thanks to the ride leaders, the club and James Eastbury and Gina Riley for their hospitality.
Here’s to another 90 years of Chester Road Club! 💙🤍❤️
