Message from Chester Road Club Chairman James Eastbury:
“In light of the recent government advice around social distancing, the club has taken the difficult decision to suspend all official club rides for the foreseeable future. We have also suspended the regular Friday night club socials at New Scene Youth Centre and have postponed our children’s Go Ride sessions which were due to start up again at the end of March. In line with guidance from British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials, we are also suspending our club hosted time trials including our open 25 mile time trial that was due to take place on 31st May.
We will monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available. In the meantime, we thank you all for your understanding and patience at this time and hope that you and your families stay safe.
